Overview
- Travel/contract role in Rancho Mirage, California
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Must work 2 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Case Management (2 years of experience)
- Case Management experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Acute Care experience
- Experience with Epic
Responsibilities
- Determine appropriateness of hospital admission
- Advocate, coordinate, and facilitate the interdisciplinary plan of care
- Help expedite medically appropriate, efficient use of resources and time to support maximum patient outcomes
Additional Notes
- Criminal background check required within 30 days of start
- Negative drug screen required within 30 days prior to start
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
- Fit testing required before start
- Minimum of 2 positive professional references required
- Dated skills checklist required
- Annual performance evaluation required for candidates who have worked at Aya for more than 1 year
- Annual internal evaluation required for candidates who have worked at Aya or their current agency for more than 1 year
