Medical Surgical RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Hanover, Kansas
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Average patient census: 1 to 3 patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Documentation and Screening

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Skills checklist
• 2 professional references from within the past 3 years
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within the last 12 months
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption on the facility-specific form
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization or titer documentation as applicable
