Labor and Delivery RN
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN in Los Angeles, California
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Unit includes 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU, and Post-Partum
- Low and High Risk L&D
- Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- AHA BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Advanced
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring
- Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Accepts first-time travelers
Additional Assignment Details
- Will be placed on call if not needed for scheduled shift
- RTO must be submitted with the application
- No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- 1 holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed
- No more than 3 days of RTO total
- Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless cancelling requested time
