Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: Mid November
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- Flexibility with shift times is required
- No weekend shifts; Saturday call hours only
- Call schedule for ambulatory surgery: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend call per 6-week period
- Call-back travel time limit: 30 minutes
- Up to 3 days of RTO accepted; anything more will be screened
- No holiday RTO
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Washington
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Pediatrics experience
- May float to Main OR
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Clinical Scope
- Circulate cases in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, brachy therapy, breasts, plastics, Max face, ENT, Eyes, General, Hematology/Oncology, and Ortho
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient OR cases
- Case mix includes 40% inpatient, 60% outpatient, and 20% pediatrics
- Hardstop skillset includes General, Gyne, Breast surgery, ENT, Urology, and Pediatrics
- Blood/Blood Products Administration
- Cardioversion / Defibrillation
- Cooling / Warming Blanket
- Drains
- Syringe Pumps
- Wound Vac
Notes
- Perm candidates from other non-Swedish Providence facilities are eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
- All Swedish facilities honor active compact license
