Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule:
- Work Fri-Sun, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- On-call Mon-Th every 2 weeks
- Experience: 1 year required
- Certifications:
- ARRT MR or ARMRIT required
- Work Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Type of Scans:
- Brain: Perfusion, Functional, Spectroscopy
- Body: Enterography, Defecography, Musculoskeletal
- Breast (including Breast biopsy)
- Spine
Required Credentials & Compliance
- Licensure:
- State license verification required (Missouri or Compact License applicable)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA RQI acceptable)
- BLS (AHA BLS required for medical lab techs)
- PALS, NRP as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification (for ICU, Interventional Radiology, ED, MS/Tele, PCU, Stepdown)
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 12 months including SSN trace, 7-year county resided/worked, nationwide search, sex offender search
- Missouri-specific searches required prior to start
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD)
- Drug screen negative within 12 months of start
- Immunizations or proof of immunity for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (for new candidates)
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (annual renewal required)
- COVID vaccination preferred
- Fit Testing:
- Respirator fit test completed onsite during first week of orientation (annual requirement)
- OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start (not required for some non-patient facing roles)
- Orientation & Training:
- Completion of facility-specific modules annually via LMS platform
- AbioMed Impella Online Training required for ICU/CCU and Cath Lab staff (annual update)
- Agency Personnel Orientation Checklist to be completed post-start
- Other Requirements:
- Photo for badge (passport style, plain background)
- Confidentiality and Security Agreement signed prior to start
- Standards of Ethical Conduct and Relevant Policies signed prior to start
Additional Notes
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams and other competency exams may be required per agency standards but are not required by the facility.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for Behavioral Health and ER staff.
- Skills checklist and references required per agency standards.
- Some state-specific forms and registrations apply if working in Missouri or Wisconsin.
This position is ideal for healthcare professionals with radiology/cardiology experience who meet the licensure and certification requirements and are comfortable with the specified schedule and on-call duties.
