Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Nights, 4x8 hour shifts (22:30 - 07:00)
• Call: Yes, rotation includes nights and weekends
• Start Date: ASAP (compliance allows up to 4 weeks from offer)
• Equipment Used: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens
• Return to Office (RTO): Must have 3 days or less of RTO
• 1st Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Locals: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• References: Two references from Charge RN or higher within the last 3 years, covering at least 1 year in specialty
• Licensure: Valid state licensure/certification as required for Ultrasound Tech

Compliance & Background Checks

• Background checks required within 60 days of start, including:

  • 7-year search (SSN Trace, counties/states lived/worked, federal, national criminal)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM checks every 45 days after start
  • HHS/OIG checks every 45 days after start
  • Social Security Verification required (candidates may start pending this if I-9 and eVerify are on file)
• Education verification required (transcripts or diploma acceptable if school closed)
• Washington State Patrol check must be run within 90 days prior to start (for WA placements)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required for non-clinical)
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (onsite candidates only)
• Immunizations or acceptable declinations required for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccine, history, or declination)
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (specific panels required)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID-19 vaccine exemptions accepted with signed religious or medical exemption forms

Orientation & Training

• Must complete PeaceHealth Orientation Manual and pass Orientation Information Quiz with 100% score prior to start
• Must complete facility-specific orientation modules for Radiology/Imaging professionals with 100% score prior to start
• Review and acknowledge policies including:

  • Dress Code
  • Personnel Restrictions Due to Illness
  • Masking Policy (N95 fit testing onsite; facial hair must be clean-shaven when using N95)
  • Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
  • Daily Responsibilities
  • MyTime Resources

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
• Candidates must sign SSA release for Social Security verification
• Photo for badge required (passport style with white or gray background)
• ID Badge and parking forms must be completed prior to start
• Must comply with all facility-specific documentation and credentialing requirements

This position is ideal for experienced Ultrasound Technologists with at least 1 year in Radiology/Cardiology specialty, who are comfortable working night shifts with call responsibilities, and who hold the required certifications and licensure.
