Certifications Required

• RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for specific units
• NIH Stroke Certification for specific units
• Basic Dysrhythmia exam (score of 84% or higher required)
• IV Certification (for LPNs)
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Tech Cert Verification - National
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Health Requirements

• Physical Exam: Within the last 12 months
• TB Testing: PPD, Q-Gold, or T-SPOT required within 1 year of start
• Vaccinations:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season or approved exemption
• Drug Screen: Required within 30 days of start

Background and History Checks

• Background check including national criminal check and state searches
• Verification of most recent employer
• Education verification required
• 2 professional references within the last 3 years
