Job Description

Position: CT Tech
Schedule: 5/2 Split nights - alternating (5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off)
Charting System: Cerner preferred
Holidays: Must be willing to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Certification Required: ARRT

Required Certifications

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only for specific units)
BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only)
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only for ER)
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required)
Tech Cert Verification - National
HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License Verification
NURSYS Verification (for RNs)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
Competency Exam (as applicable)

Health Documents Required

Physical Exam - within the last 12 months
TDAP - required for all candidates
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - within 1 year of start
TB Questionnaire - required annually
Vaccination Records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug Testing - 10 panel drug screen with alcohol test, within 1 year of start
Flu Seasonal Vaccination - required for candidates starting on or after 9/30/24

Background Check

Criminal Check - 7 year check required
Federal and International Searches - required for this facility
EPLS/GSA/SAM - required within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG - required within 30 days of start

References

Professional References - 2 required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care System positions
