Job Description

Position: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Average Daily Censuses/Cases: 15-18
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
First-timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend Requirements: Weekend call required
On-call Requirements: Yes, 8-9 times per month including 1 weekend
Local Candidates: Not accepted (70-mile radius)
Pending License: Accepted
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (facility can low census/cancel up to 40 hours per contract)

Required Certifications

Mandatory:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BCLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred:
- NIH Stroke Certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Special Requirements

Skills in circulating, Level 1, and scrub roles are required.
Familiarity with unit procedures such as:
- TAVR
- Right and left heart catheterization
- Diagnostics
- Impella insertion
- ECMO
- IABP
- TEE
- Cardioversion
- EP Ablations
- Pacemakers
- ICD implants
- Watchman
- Mitraclip
- Coronary angiography
- ECHO
- Lead extractions and reimplantation

Additional Information

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application and are subject to manager discretion.
