Job Opportunity: RN Cardiology

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week including holidays.
Must have experience with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem.
Must have experience caring for stroke patients.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Experience with amiodarone and cardizem cardiac drips
Experience caring for stroke patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency
