Job Opportunity: RN Cardiology

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week including holidays.
  • Must have experience with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem.
  • Must have experience caring for stroke patients.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Connecticut
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
  • Experience with amiodarone and cardizem cardiac drips
  • Experience caring for stroke patients
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency
