Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I (Telemetry/Medsurg Float)

Location: Inglewood, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA) – Per Diem
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts
Start Date: January 17

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Telemetry and Medsurg units.
• Must be able to float between units.
• Weekend availability required.
• Preference for candidates available through the end of January and the first week of February.
• Must meet minimum compliance requirements prior to starting. Full compliance profile to be completed within two weeks after start date.

Required Qualifications

• License: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), as applicable
• Vaccinations/Immunity:

  • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity
  • Proof of Varicella vaccination or immunity
  • COVID-19: 2 vaccines and booster or declination completed
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required November 1 - March 31)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
  • Tdap vaccination or declination
• Other Health Requirements:

  • TB test within one year of start date
  • Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
  • Physical/Health statement (clear to work) within one year
• Compliance and Background:

  • National criminal background check within one year of start date
  • Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (California law compliant) within 60 days of start
  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
  • Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
• Additional Testing and Training:

  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Specialty Exam (submission required)
  • Prime Orientation Packet and Job Description acknowledgment
  • Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)
• Documentation:

  • Updated resume reflecting recent work history
  • Two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor)
  • Driver’s license or state ID or passport
  • Prime Agency Attestation and SAM/EPLS exclusion search
  • Education verification (diploma or transcripts accepted)
