Travel/Contract RN assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina
13-week contract
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
36 or 48 hours per week accepted
Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
2 or more completed travel assignments
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
IV Start and Telemetry
Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias

Ratio: 1:6
4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
Daily census: 42
43 rooms/beds
Preferred scheduling
Unit orientation: 36 hours
Scrubs: Navy

Float / Scheduling Expectations

Floating required to other MS/Tele areas, including possible COVID care units
Frequent floating may be required
Travelers are required to work every other weekend

Patient Population

Primarily stroke patients
Also possible neurosurgery patients and other neuro diagnoses, including epilepsy and traumatic/non-traumatic subdural hematomas
