Mammography Tech

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
• Monday–Friday day shift, 8:30–17:00
• 32–40 hours per week
• Locals welcome at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support, as applicable; must be AHA
• National certification/verification required within 30 days of start, as applicable by profession and state
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 15 mammography-specific CEUs within the last 3 years
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 200 mammograms performed within the last 24 months
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of initial training, including 40 hours of mammography-specific training and 25 supervised exams
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 8 hours of digital training
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 8 hours of 3D/tomo training
• Education verification required for all positions
• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify required
• Background check required, including a 7-year criminal check and verification of all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start and monthly thereafter
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start and monthly thereafter
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Work history verification required for last position worked only
• Skills checklist required for applicable unit
• Physical exam required if patient facing
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start; results must be on file prior to start
• TB questionnaire required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required if patient facing
• Flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season for non-clinical positions
• Colorado CAPS check results required for all candidates
• Pennsylvania child abuse search required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results required for PA placements only; results must be on file before clearance
• Pennsylvania PATCH search required for PA facilities within 1 year of start and updated annually

Notes

• Radiation badge will be provided for radiology techs
• COVID-19 exemption is acceptable; COVID is not required
