Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Start Date: Mid to Late April

Job Description

Hospital-based assignment operating on a two-tech model (no working alone)
Focus on Cardiology and general nuclear medicine only (no PET)
Equipment: GE scanner
Primary work location at Memorial Campus with possible float to nearby University Campus
Schedule: 5x8 or possibly 4x10 shifts, start times at 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM
Call Requirements: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month (more call available if interested)

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Massachusetts
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year
ARRT or NMTB certification
Experience working with Pediatric and Neonate patients

Additional Requirements

Valid Driver’s License or State ID
Background checks including 7-year criminal background, education verification, and various state/federal checks
Health documents including:
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Immunizations or declinations for TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and others as specified
- Drug testing within 30 days of start
Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
References: 2 references within 3 years of start
Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
