Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (7pm-7am), weekdays, some weekends, with floating as needed

Submission & Compliance Requirements

• Background Check: 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start; includes SSN trace, county, sex offender, national, and international searches if applicable
• Drug Testing: Must be within 30 days of start and updated annually; includes a comprehensive panel (amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, opiates, PCP, benzodiazepines, methadone, propoxyphene)
• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by a licensed provider, confirming good health and no physical limitations
• Fit Mask Testing: Annual fit testing required for N95 masks; onsite fit testing may be accommodated if no clinic within 100 miles
• Immunizations & Titers:

  • Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria) vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with approval)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - 2 vaccines or positive titers required
  • Hepatitis B - documented series or positive titer required
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titers required
• References: Minimum 1 reference from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse within 1 year of start

Additional Notes

• Must submit valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
• Must comply with facility-specific policies including dress code, blood administration, math calculation review, EKG review, and inservice training modules
• Orientation is two days (Thursday and Friday) and includes Cerner Infusion Management training
• Return travelers to this facility must wait 2 years after last permanent employment before contracting as a traveler
• Time off requests must be submitted two weeks prior to the next schedule and approved by management
