Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech - Endovascular Tech)
Location: Dayton, Ohio

Job Description
Seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel contract position. The role involves working primarily 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5 PM), with flexible scheduling options including compressed workweeks.
Call Requirements
- One full weekend call shift per month (Friday 5 PM to Monday 6 AM).
- Typically, the Friday and Monday of the weekend call are off.
- Weekday call shifts occur 1-2 days per week, except during the weekend call week.
- Total of 7-8 call shifts per month including weekends.
Work-Life Balance
- Approved additional time-off flexibility to support work-life balance.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure/Certification:
- CPR Certification (required)
- ARRT RT (R) registry (required)
- ODH licensure required prior to start (can be obtained during compliance)
- ACLS (preferred)
- Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) registry (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of job-related experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Preferred: Progressive Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.
- Prior travel experience is NOT explicitly required.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- I-9 and E-Verify documentation required.
- Government-issued photo ID required.
- Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG.
- Education verification (primary source) required.
- Drug testing: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel.
- Physical exam within 2 years, indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases.
- Immunizations and health documents: TB test or chest X-ray, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity, Varicella, Hepatitis B vaccination or declination, Flu vaccination or approved exemption.
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually.
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be a manager/supervisor).
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year.
- Competency exams and other certifications as applicable.
Additional Notes
- Fingerprinting is generally not required unless working in specific units (not applicable here).
- Various certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) are required or preferred depending on unit; ACLS preferred for this role.
- Medication and competency exams required within specified timeframes.
- Medical questionnaire for respiratory protection required prior to orientation.
