Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Billings, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Experience

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN experience required (no conflicting data).

Required Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion NOT accepted
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only, required for ER, PCU, CVICU, ICU, Cath Lab, LAD, IR, Urgent Care
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA only, required for ER, NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, Interventional Radiology, Urgent Care
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for Nursery, NICU, L&D, Mother/Baby
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required for ER
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D (AWHONN Advanced also accepted)

Licensure

  • Valid State RN License required (Montana)
  • NURSYS Verification required within 30 days of start
  • Temporary licenses NOT accepted

Background Checks & Compliance

  • 7-year background check required within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
  • Education verification through third party required

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, or PA (no Chiropractors)
  • Quantitative fit mask test (3M mask) within 90 days prior to start or onsite testing; must be clean-shaven; annual renewal required
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray with annual renewal
  • Immunizations or positive titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years or signed declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31), exemptions accepted with documentation
  • COVID-19 vaccination series or medical/religious exemption required with proper documentation
  • Negative drug screen within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually

Documentation & History

  • 2 references required, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year
  • Current employment application covering 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
  • Employment verification preferred for last 5 years
  • Skills checklist required as applicable

Additional Notes

  • Certificates of completion for certifications are NOT accepted; must have official AHA or certifying body cards
  • Facility-specific OSHA form required for onsite fit testing
  • Prior work at this facility must be disclosed in application
