• 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM (sometimes)

Contract Length

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Social Services
• Emergency Department experience required
• Must have experience with Trauma 1 level care
• EPIC system experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
• Required certifications may include:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Blue Card (for ER and Behavioral Health)
• Continuing Education Units (CEUs) within last 24 months required for RNs (may be relevant if applicable)
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgment required

Prior Travel Experience

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year, updated annually
• Education verification required
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually
• Mask fit testing (N95) within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations and titers required or declination accepted for:

  • TB (negative test or chest x-ray)
  • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
  • Hepatitis C (titer preferred, declination accepted)
  • Flu vaccine required annually (declination accepted with masking)
  • COVID-19 vaccine documentation or declination with masking requirements
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Varicella (vaccines or positive titers)

Competency & Testing

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required
• Unit-specific competency exams may be required
• Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam required (passing score 80% or higher)
• Pass/fail testing for medication calculation and arrhythmia recognition (EKG) for applicable nursing roles

References & Work History

• Two professional references within 1 year from leadership roles required
• Verification of employment for past 3 years required
• Annual performance evaluation required if working with the agency for 1 year or more

Orientation & Facility Specifics

• Orientation modules completed onsite or remotely as directed
• Scrub color requirements: Navy Blue for RNs/LVNs
• Signed facility-specific job description and confidentiality agreements required prior to start
• Various facility-specific acknowledgments and policy reviews required (e.g., Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Policy, Epidural Pain Policy, Standard of Care: Skin Care)
