Nuclear Medicine Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography for a travel contract position. The role involves working primarily day shifts with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours/week). Weekend work is required on a rotating or as-needed basis.
Work Schedule
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekend: Rotating or as needed
Schedule subject to change as needed by site leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or certification through NMTCB
- Certification through ARRT in Radiography (RT(R)), Computed Tomography (RT(CT)), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RT(MR))
- Experience as a CT Technologist
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications issued by the American Heart Association, valid for the duration of the assignment
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties are not eligible to apply.
- License and certifications must be current and valid through the entire contract period; renewals must be completed prior to assignment start if necessary.
