Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours each
- Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM
- Rotating weekends
- Standby call and holiday assignments as needed
- Floating between multiple units or locations based on staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Radiology Technician
- Experience working in a clinic setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background checks including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, and state-specific caregiver screening (WI)
- Education verification as applicable to specialty
- Drug screening per Vaya standard (clinical candidates)
- Physical exam (Aya standard)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- TB testing and questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or exemption
- Varicella vaccination or exemption
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination form
- Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption (annual requirement)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
- Meningococcal vaccine or declination (if applicable)
- Facility-specific forms such as caregiver screening and BID form (Wisconsin state mandated)
- Photo for badge (passport-style, no headwear except for religious/medical reasons)
Testing & Competency Requirements
- Telemetry testing (Adult and Pediatric) as applicable, with strict passing criteria and remediation process
- Medication and pharmacology competency exams as applicable
- Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication depending on specialty
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- National certification verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration (as applicable)
Additional Notes
- Floating assignments may require working in different units or locations during the contract
- Renewal plans for certifications must be finalized by the 15th of the month prior to expiration
- Candidates must comply with all facility and state-specific requirements prior to start date
