Job Opportunity: Hospice Registered Nurse

Location: Fishersville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide hospice care as a field nurse visiting patients in homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
No call and no holiday shifts required.
Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Weekend availability is not required but preferred in case of need; alternate weekend schedule may be Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Outpatient home care setting.
Documentation system used: Meditech HomeCare.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience, with hospice experience within the last year.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

No call or holiday shifts.
Free parking available in unrestricted spaces.
