Job Opportunity: Step Down Registered Nurse

Location: Hazard, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a 3 South Stepdown unit with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:5.
Requires 2 years of previous Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown experience.
Must float within scope of practice.
Every other weekend shift required.
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
