Overview
- Travel/contract role in Redding, California
- School-based pediatric occupational therapy across multiple school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties
- In-person assignment
- Start date: ASAP
- New graduates are okay
- Local candidates are okay
- Expected duration: 13 weeks
- Preferred assignment length: through the full school year, August 12, 2026 to May 28, 2027
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour day shift
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Plan schedules
- Perform evaluations
- Design and implement treatment programs
- Visit multiple school sites
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Occupational Therapist license in California
- Bachelor's degree
- Driver's License
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Unexpired government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
- Fingerprinting via Livescan/California background check during orientation
- State license verification
- Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
- TB questionnaire if applicable
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination
- 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
