Location: Colville, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 staffed beds, no trauma)

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
Compliance & Background Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 and state-specific searches)
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- Additional background components: SSN Trace, Death Master Index, Nationwide and County checks, National Sex Offender Registry, FACIS Level 3, Education Verification, MVR (if applicable)
- State-specific searches for Washington and border states required within 90 days of start, updated every 2 years for certain facility types
- E-Verify attestation required
- Education verification required for all candidates
- Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (10-panel for some Per Diem candidates)
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps or overlaps
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
- Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required for all new travel starts on or after 2/5/2024; must be medically cleared annually
- Immunizations and documentation required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years; declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (9/1–3/30); declination accepted with mask requirements
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to infection prevention policies
- Respiratory safety clearance via virtual questionnaire reviewed by licensed healthcare professional
Additional Requirements
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Skills checklist updated annually as applicable
- May be required to complete Epic training modules within orientation week
- Float policy acknowledgement required (may float to other nearby facilities)
