Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse

Location

• Greenbelt, Maryland
• Service area includes Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, Charles County, and St Marys County
• Assignments based on zip codes within these counties

Employment Type

• Travel/Contract position
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)

Job Description

• Provide home health nursing care
• May be required to float to cover another zip code as needed
• Use of personal vehicle required for travel between patient homes
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between patients during the workday
• Orientation held every Monday
• Must have experience with OASIS E & HCHB PointCare EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Home Health nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with OASIS documentation
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system
