Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule Options:
- 4x10 hour shifts
- 5x8 hour shifts
- 2x12 hour shifts and 2x8 hour shifts
Shift Rotation: Day/Evening/Night (D/E/N) rotating schedule released in 6-week blocks, provided 2 weeks prior to start
Shift Times:
- Day: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On-Call Requirement: Yes
Level 1, 24/7 OR covering: Orthopedics, vascular, endovascular, plastics, ENT, neuro, DaVinci robotics (XI and DV5), thoracic, general, colo-rectal, urology, gynecology, trauma, and transplant surgery (transplant experience not required)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
Minimum 4 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
Operating Room experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
