Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week, 36 hours total)

Work Schedule

• 36 or 48 hours per week (typically 3 twelve-hour night shifts)
• Night shifts only

Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse in OB/GYN
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule (no local candidates)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Mississippi
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• OB/GYN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during work hours)
• Social Security Card (to be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing)
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Complete 7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Mississippi Department of Health fingerprint background screening within last 2 years (results required before start)
• Highest level of education verification (diploma or transcript acceptable for pending verifications)
• Drug screening: 10-panel test within 30 days of start (instant tests accepted, not onsite)
• Physical exam within one year of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within one year of start (chest x-ray within 5 years if positive PPD)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B (vaccine series, titer, or declination with proof)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required prior to start

• Drug screen consent form
• Photograph and authorization consent form
• Facility-specific fingerprint forms (to be completed via DocuSign)

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
• Performance evaluation if worked with the agency over 1 year
• Internal evaluation (agency-specific) if applicable

This position requires a dedicated OB/GYN RN with appropriate licensure, certifications, and compliance with all background and health requirements. Night shift availability and travel contract flexibility are essential.
