Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Oakland, California.
Winter coverage assignment from 11/2 to 2/27.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
36 hours per week.
Contract length: 17 weeks.

Unit / Patient Population

Patient population includes Tele, Surg overflow, renal, trauma, and oncology.
Oncology patients are no chemo.
Float scope includes Stepdown, Med/Surg ED, and all Tele.
No block scheduling.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
EKG Skill 3/4 Telemetry.
Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred

NIHSS.

Scheduling / Time Off

No more than 4 continuous days of RTO or 6 total days; more than that is a screen.
Candidates should expect to be scheduled for 2 of the 3 major holidays.
Up to 7 days of RTO outside blackout dates may be automatically approved.
Blackout dates: Nov 22–Nov 30 and Dec 21–Jan 4.

Accepts first-time travelers.
