Job info

Travel/contract RN role in San Diego, California.
Float pool assignment covering Thornton (La Jolla), Jacobs (La Jolla), Hillcrest, and East Campus (La Mesa).
RN must be willing to work at 3 locations during the contract.
May float to EDIP (emergency department inpatient overflow in the ER).
Patient population includes cardiac, neuro, general, stroke, medical, surgical, kidney, liver solid organ transplant, and trauma.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00.
Contract length: 18 weeks.

Valid RN license in California.
Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience.
Critical Care Float experience within the last year.
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or National Health Care Provider Solutions or Military Training Network.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or National Health Care Provider Solutions or Military Training Network.
NIHSS.
A-line placement and management.
PICC line placement and management.
Chest tube management.
Mechanical ventilation management.
Must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Christmas Day & Eve, Thanksgiving Day and after, or New Year’s Eve and Day.
