PT Outpatient

Role Overview

• Travel/contract physical therapist role in a rural critical access hospital setting.
• Works across acute, outpatient, and long-term care settings, including home visits and swing bed care.
• Start date: ASAP.

Schedule

• Day shift.
• Options include 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts.
• Weekend coverage: every 3rd weekend.
• On-call: not required.
• Floating to sister facilities: not required.
• Block scheduling: may be accommodated.
• Local candidates accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Montana.
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening.
• HHS/OIG screening.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• N95 fit test within 12 months of start.
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, with annual TB testing required.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season.
• Skills checklist.

Additional Notes

• Guaranteed hours are based on census or caseload and may vary between 34 and 40 hours per week.
