Overview
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours per week: 40
Role Details
- Float required to Pre-Op and PACU
- Covers Pre-Op for both inpatient and outpatient cases and Phase II Recovery with discharge home
- Case mix includes general surgery, vascular, plastics, mandibular surgery, eye procedures, OB-GYN, dental, thoracic, podiatry, cath lab vascular procedures, and endoscopy
- Pediatric exposure is limited; travelers are not assigned to pediatrics
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Preoperative experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
Additional Notes
- Candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
- Float policy acknowledgement is required
