Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Saint Louis, Missouri
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Short-term acute care setting
First-time travelers accepted

Schedule

Every other weekend required, or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum
Holiday rotation required
Block scheduling not accepted
On-call not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of nursing experience
Float (2 years of experience)
Float experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
IV Certification
IV start capability
Telemetry competency

Preferred Qualifications

NIH certification

Clinical Details

Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–6 on days and weekends; 1:6 on nights
Floating required within scope to medical, surgical, renal, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units
Uses lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
Unit charting system: EPIC

Additional Notes

Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius
Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
