Role Summary

• Provides and coordinates home nursing care based on physician orders and agency policies.
• Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Typical caseload is 5–8 patients per day.
• Productivity expectation is 30 units per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Home Health experience: 1 year.
• Home Health experience within the last year.
• Hospice experience.
• One completed travel assignment.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Driver's License.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase.
• Experience with OASIS.

Schedule and Travel

• Weekend rotation is approximately every 3rd weekend.
• On-call is approximately every 3rd week and weekend.
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
• Travel is compensated from patient home to patient home; commute to the first and last patient is not billable.
• Average weekly travel is approximately 500 miles.
