Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts, Monday through Wednesday
• Call: None
• Scrubs: Any color allowed
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (MR)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred/required depending on area
• State License: Must hold a valid Washington state radiology license
• EMR Experience: Epic preferred

Additional Certification Preferences/Requirements

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required for certain units
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – required for NICU, Nursery, etc.
• CHEMO certification – required for Oncology
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – required for ER, preferred for ICU
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – required for Labor & Delivery and related units
• NIH Stroke Certification – required for ICU, Tele, ED, Cath Lab, Neurology, etc.
• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) must have WA RT License and verification

Compliance & Orientation Requirements

• Must sign Social Security verification release
• Complete PeaceHealth orientation manual and pass orientation quiz with 100% score prior to start
• Complete PeaceHealth-specific orientation modules based on profession (e.g., Radiology/Imaging module)
• Review and comply with PeaceHealth policies including dress code, masking, personnel illness restrictions
• Submit required facility-specific documents such as photo for badge, criminal disclosure, demographic form, and various vaccine declination forms if applicable

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year (for onsite workers)
• Up-to-date Tdap vaccine or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or TB questionnaire if positive)
• Immunity or vaccination documentation for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer or vaccination series or declination)
  • Varicella (chickenpox)
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (specific panels required)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination (medical or religious exemptions accepted with proper forms)
• Respiratory safety clearance required for onsite candidates

Background & Verification

• Background check within 60 days of start (7-year search including SSN trace, counties, states, federal, national criminal, and social security verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to start and ongoing every 45 days
• Two professional references from Charge RN or higher within last 3 years, covering at least 1 year in specialty
• Employment application and work history verification for last 7 years with proof of 1 year in specialty
• Washington State Patrol check within 90 days prior to start (for WA placements)

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract position for an experienced Radiology/Cardiology professional with at least 2 years of experience, holding ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications, and a valid Washington state radiology license. The role requires night shifts (3x12 hours) with no call responsibilities. Candidates must complete extensive orientation, health, and compliance requirements prior to starting. First-time travelers and local candidates are not accepted for this position. Epic EMR experience is preferred.
