Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for the management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients. This role involves collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and adherence to the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Delegating and assigning responsibilities as appropriate
• Leading the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the attending physician

Important Note: This position requires experience with EPIC, as the traveler will be working during an EPIC conversion.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of Preop/AM Admit experience
• Procedural sedation experience
• Experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery
• Previous travel experience
• Supervisory references from recent travel assignments

Profile Requirements

• Work history
• Skills checklist (current to 1 year)
• 1 supervisory reference (from the past two years)
• Current New York License, ACLS, BLS
• Permanent address must be included in the profile (must match Driver License/State ID)

Additional Information

• COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required.
• Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Must be available to work holidays as needed.
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons, no hoodies).
• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
