Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
- Physical Therapy Assistant (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the physical therapist with patient treatment
- Obtain treatment-related data and help modify care as needed
- Help patients with stretching, exercise, balance training, and mobility support
- Communicate with families about at-home techniques
- Keep the therapy area clean and organized
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling and filing paperwork
