Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• This assignment covers Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (TELE), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties. Candidates must be comfortable working in all three areas.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring in a Medical/Surgical setting is required.
• The facility is a small, rural hospital; rural/small facility experience is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: Typically 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1, applicable for both day and night shifts.
• Time off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no requests will be approved after offer.
• No call or call-back requirements for this assignment.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry.
• Skills:

  • Current skills checklist in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (within the last year).
  • Basic dysrhythmia test certification required.
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (must be uploaded with profile).
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• References: One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Additional:

  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required.
  • Must have own vehicle for the assignment.
  • Permanent address must be included in profile.
  • No schedule accommodations or block scheduling allowed.
  • Candidates cannot work concurrently with another permanent placement or travel assignment.

Notes

• A 48-hour guaranteed time off is not available for this assignment.
• The facility is a 25-bed hospital with a 24/7 staffed emergency department, serving a rural community.
• This is a temporary position requiring flexibility and independence in a small hospital setting.
