Location: Jackson, Michigan
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Hours: 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing
• Experience working with neonate patients
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Additional Information

• This position is in a Special Care Nursery setting.
• The role requires working every other weekend and every other holiday.
