Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, holistic, and therapeutic nursing care to patients and families in the OR setting
• Perform nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Promote quality outcomes and patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to manage complex or high-risk clinical situations
• Serve as patient and family advocate, ensuring excellent care and participation in decision-making
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using nursing interventions appropriate to age and culture
• Identify and address patient and family educational needs using adult-learning principles
• Recognize and overcome communication barriers, utilizing interdisciplinary resources as needed
• Delegate and assign care within scope of practice to other healthcare team members
• Coordinate and communicate with healthcare team and ancillary staff to facilitate patient progress and workflow

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgeries
• Scrub experience is mandatory
