Overview
Provides patient care for a defined outpatient pediatric population, including developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care. The role also involves monitoring patient needs, supporting quality assurance, and helping update policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Pediatrics experience
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive clinical experience in the related specialty
- Professional certification in the area of expertise
- BSN, MSN, or NP
- Pediatric experience
Work Environment
- Patient care setting with exposure to communicable diseases and other moderately adverse working conditions
