Overview

Provides patient care for a defined outpatient pediatric population, including developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care. The role also involves monitoring patient needs, supporting quality assurance, and helping update policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology experience within the last year
1 year of oncology experience
Experience working with pediatric patients
Pediatrics experience
Experience in an outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of progressive clinical experience in the related specialty
Professional certification in the area of expertise
BSN, MSN, or NP
Pediatric experience

Work Environment

Patient care setting with exposure to communicable diseases and other moderately adverse working conditions
