Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position in a critical care environment covering Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatrics, and adults.
• Float requirements include working at multiple nearby facilities and units as needed.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotations every 2nd or 3rd weekend and holidays.
• Orientation scheduled with guaranteed hours except during holidays when the unit is closed.
• Must be adaptable, resilient, and able to manage change well.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Comfortable working in critical care settings, specifically NICU experience required.
• Current certifications/licenses required:

  • RRT or CRT license
  • Wisconsin RRT license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system within the last 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccine required unless a medical or religious exemption applies.

Additional Information

• Scrub color is flexible.
• Employee should only be asked to float within their clinical skill set and with proper approvals.
• Social and hardworking candidates preferred.
