Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• No block schedule requests
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with 1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period
• No on-call or call-back requirements

Unit & Patient Ratio

• ICU: 12 beds, nurse-to-patient ratio 1:2 or 1:3
• May float to Telemetry (24 beds, 1:5 ratio) or Emergency Department
• May be tasked as an aide if needed in Tele or ED

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong telemetry and ICU skills
• Charting experience with Meditech highly preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Requirements

• No new travelers; must have completed at least one prior travel contract (prior travel experience required)
• Must be resilient, able to manage change well, and socially adaptable
• Scrub color: Royal Blue

Notes

• No return to office (RTO) over 7 days accepted
• Orientation is bi-weekly, 12 hours non-billable, and GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week
• Holiday closures may affect guaranteed hours
