Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Perioperative

Location: Two Harbors, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Perioperative Nursing
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week (except during holidays when the unit is closed)
• Start Date Options: Mid-February or early March
• Facility Type: Critical access hospital outpatient surgery center with 2 ORs and 1 procedure room
• Primary Case/Procedure Types: Endoscopy, ophthalmology (eyes), pain management, general surgery, and urology cases
• Charting System: EPIC required
• Scrub Color: Provided

Requirements

• Education: ASN or BSN
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Minnesota RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Perioperative nursing
• Desired Skills: Experience in intra-operative, pre-operative, and post-operative care
• Additional:

  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (radius rule)
  • Call back minimum of 2 hours; can be low censused and put on call
  • No float or weekend/holiday requirements

• 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room

Notes

• GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week
• Contract eligible for 36 hours low census
