CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Peru, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Schedule: Mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography exams and procedures under radiologist direction with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include administering ionizing radiation following ALARA guidelines to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety while complying with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a CT certification program
• CT Certification

• Local rate adjustments apply for clinicians living within 50 miles
• Call-off policy allows up to 12 hours off every 13 weeks without penalty
• Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
