Physical Therapist (Pediatric PT Outpatient)

Location: Fort Morgan, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Primarily outpatient pediatric physical therapy with potential for early intervention and occasional assistance with inpatient acute care.
• Patient load: approximately 8-10 patients per day.
• Common diagnoses treated include developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions.
• Facility includes a warm water therapy pool.

Schedule

• 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday
• 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Flexible scheduling with ability to schedule own patients
• Blocked time reserved for inpatient evaluations and documentation
• Very occasional weekend on-call required
• No holiday requirements

Required Qualifications

• Colorado PT license or compact PT license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required; candidates with at least 1 year of experience will be considered
• Must be available in-state for orientation week (Monday-Thursday, 8 AM – 6 PM)

Additional Information

• Orientation is department-specific and occurs during the first week with a flexible schedule.
• Must submit a valid driver’s license; radius for travel is 60 miles.
• Department includes 1 pediatric PTA and is supervised by an occupational therapist.
• Dress code: scrubs or business casual.
