Location

• Boise, Idaho

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekends every other week, with additional weekends as needed
• Holidays as needed

Unit Overview

• Medical-surgical unit with 35 beds
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Typical patient population includes bariatric surgery, urology, colorectal, vascular surgery, acute care surgery, gynecological surgery, plastic surgery/breast reconstruction, cystic fibrosis, and medical patients

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• 2 years of medical-surgical experience
• Proficiency with central lines, NG tube management, ostomies, drain management, and professional communication

Preferred Experience

• Experience with CBIs and Foley management

Responsibilities

• Read telemetry strips
• Float to like units as needed
• May serve as charge nurse if needed and if experienced

Additional Details

• No call or standby requirement
• Scrubs must be clean and professional; no specific color required
• Orientation includes 1 unit-specific shift and 1 didactic day
• Radius rule applies for candidates living within 50 miles
