Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Experience with DaVinci robot
• Spine experience
• Neuro experience
• Must be able to provide a driver’s license

Schedule and Call

• Approximately 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week
• Approximately 1 weekend call per month
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Unit Details

• OR with 6 suites
• Average of 7 cases per day, though volume is variable
• Common cases include general, ortho, GYN, spine, neuro, urology, eyes, and ENT
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• Not responsible for charge nurse or house supervisor duties

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs are provided
• Floating is very rare, but may involve helping hands
• Orientation is tailored to travel RN experience
• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
