Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Details

Department: LAB - Histology Tech
Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Weekend Requirements: Yes
Holiday Requirements: Yes, if staffing needed
Call or Standby Call: No
Dress Code: Any professional colors
Orientation:
- Organization orientation on day one
- Lab-specific orientation on day two
- 8-hour days, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekends

Required Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- Certified Histotechnician (HT) or Certified Histotechnologist (HTL) via ASCP
Education: Associates degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years required, 3 years preferred in routine histology including embedding, microtomy, IHC, special stains, digital pathology
Specialization: No specific area specialization required (e.g., muscle or kidney)
Additional Skills: Detail-oriented, experience with Epic Beaker LIS and EMR systems, familiarity with Roche equipment

Additional Information

No self-scheduling available
Must be available for weekend shifts
Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
Radius requirement: within 60 miles with valid driver’s license submitted
