Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Travel Contract
Location: Los Angeles, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel contract position. The role involves working in a hospital setting with a variety of surgical cases including Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular, Neurosurgery, ENT, Thoracic, and General surgery.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Day shifts with varied start times between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM
- Call required every other week (EOW)
- Call shifts include weekdays and weekends, typically 8 hours:
- 11 PM to 7 AM on weekdays
- Rotating weekend shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, or 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Call frequency: 3-4 times in a 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Active California RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Specialty Focus
- Operating Room nursing with experience in multiple surgical specialties including trauma and vascular cases

- Call responsibilities are part of the role and include weekday and weekend coverage
