Location: Monterey, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Provide physical therapy services split between an Acute Inpatient Unit and a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
Work with diverse patient populations including neurological injury recovery and elderly rehabilitation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient functional outcomes.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Current California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure)
CPR/BLS certification
Experience preferred in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care
Experience preferred in geriatric rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility care

Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and organizational skills

Facility is nicotine-free; all drug tests must be negative for nicotine/cotinine unless prescribed nicotine patch
EMR system used: Epic
Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
Floating between Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Skilled Nursing Facility based on unit needs
